The Rubes family farm has been around for over 67 years. My Grandparents Ed and Pearl Rubes bought the farm May 9, 1949, raising Hereford cattle, wheat, chickens and hay. My father then took over the farm around 1978, and continued the family legacy. During his time with the farm he raised Red Limousin and eventually ended up with Angus cattle.

We lost our father in 2012, and I wanted to try something different. His Angus cattle were getting old and needed to be sold. After some soul searching I made a decision to go back with the Hereford cattle. I love the history of the family farm and wanted to go back to the way my grandfather did it.
